Physiology[]
Squarp are medium sized molusks that flop through the air with their two latteral fins that function as wings. Surprisingly, Squarp are poor swimmers as they are incapable of breathing underwater. Their smooth and semi-translucent skin is kept wet with a clear mucus secreted from underneath their hood.

Special Abilities[]
Squarp have two lateral fins that function as wings that allow them to fly. They are rather clumsy fliers, but they can still reach heights as high as any other flier can.
Behavior[]
In the wild, Squarp are very shy and skiddish. They don't quite trust approaching parties, but they are quite docile so rather than attack, they choose to flee. However, when engaged, they can pack a whollop! Squarp make excellent companions in captivity because of their docile nature. When they become trusting of an individual, they can be very friendly and whimsical.
Habitat[]
Squarp exclusively live near the shore. Though they do not swim, they do require the wet, salty breeze to stay healthy. Around the shore, they are somewhat common, though they usually hide inside or around larger objects to avoid becoming prey to larger monsters and hunters.
Diet[]
They eat seaweed, plankton, and other vegetation around the ocean shore. They have also been known to scavenge through old hunts, and consume what remains, though this is typically a last resort for food as Squarp prefer their vegetarian diet.
